Featured Rescue Pet JJ
'JJ' came into a small cat rescue with his brother. He soon became sick at the rescue and needed to be fostered to ensure he had a chance to get the help he needed. At the foster's house both kittens were treated by a vet and seemed to be improving. His brother was adopted, but JJ had other health issues, an infected eye and it wasn't healing. The decision was made to have his eye removed. While he was recovering from that surgery, the foster noticed he was a bit more mellow than they were expecting from a kitten his age. Another vet visit confirmed he had FIP. The fosters were able to get him treatment and after 12 weeks of shots, he was given a clean bill of health and adopted by his fosters. He had a rough start for sure but is now ruling the house with his cute antics.
